Introduction

Scripture context: Daniel 9:24–27.

“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness…” — Daniel 9:24, KJV

Seventy weeks of years give a total prophetic framework of 490 years. Daniel 9:25–27 presents seven weeks, sixty-two weeks and one final week: 49 + 434 + 7 = 490 years.

This study examines a prophetic pattern extending from the experiences of the Children of Israel to the Church of Christ Jesus, and ultimately to the final purification and inheritance of the Elect of THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH. It distinguishes the Biblical Record, Derived Chronology, Biblical Typology, and Prophetic Interpretation, so that Scripture remains the foundation upon which every proposed correspondence is examined.

Jacob and the First Chronological Pattern

“Return unto the land of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee.” — Genesis 31:3

“Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle…” — Genesis 31:41

Our reconstructed chronology places Joseph at approximately seven years old when Jacob finally departed Haran. Joseph was seventeen when sold (Genesis 37:2), thirty before Pharaoh (Genesis 41:46), and approximately thirty-nine when Jacob entered Egypt after seven years of plenty and two years of famine (Genesis 45:6). Jacob then lived seventeen years in Egypt (Genesis 47:28). This gives approximately 49 years from Jacob’s departure from Haran to his death.

“Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.” — Genesis 49:1

Egypt: 430 Years and 400 Years

“thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years.” — Genesis 15:13

“Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.” — Exodus 12:40

“at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day… all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.” — Exodus 12:41

This study examines the relationship between the 430-year period and the 400-year affliction period, including their 30-year difference. The exact beginning of the 400-year affliction within that framework remains under examination and is not asserted beyond what Scripture establishes.

Kadesh: Judgment and the New Generation

Scripture context: Numbers 14:26–35.

“your little ones… them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.” — Numbers 14:31

Thus Scripture distinguishes the generation judged in the wilderness from the generation permitted to inherit the Promised Land.

Kadesh to Zered: 38 Years

“the space in which we came from Kadesh-barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years…” — Deuteronomy 2:14

Zered marks an important generational transition. In the typology developed in this study, the wilderness is examined as a refining furnace.

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried…” — Daniel 12:10

“I will… refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried…” — Zechariah 13:9

Zered, Sihon and Og: “Begin to Possess”

Scripture context: Deuteronomy 2:24–31; Numbers 21:21–35.

“Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess…” — Deuteronomy 2:31

Israel subsequently defeated Og (Numbers 21:33–35). Thus possession of the promised inheritance began before Jordan was crossed.

The Approximately Seven-Year Framework

“Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadesh-barnea to espy out the land…” — Joshua 14:7

“the LORD hath kept me alive… these forty and five years…” — Joshua 14:10

Therefore, Kadesh to Caleb’s declaration equals 45 years, while Kadesh to Zered equals 38 years. Hence 45 − 38 = approximately 7 years. The resulting framework is: Zered → begin to possess → conquest → inheritance → Caleb.

The First Proposed 3½ Years: The Furnace

Within the proposed prophetic interpretation, the period from around Zered toward Gilgal represents the first half of the final seven. The inheriting generation faced Sihon, Og and then River Jordan.

“all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.” — Joshua 3:17

Gilgal: Purification and Covenant

Scripture context: Joshua 5:2–9; Romans 2:29; Colossians 2:11.

“This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you.” — Joshua 5:9

In the prophetic typology, circumcision at Gilgal represents final purification and covenantal preparation of the Elect. The New Testament speaks of circumcision “of the heart, in the spirit” (Romans 2:29) and “the circumcision made without hands” (Colossians 2:11).

Passover: The Proposed Midpoint

“the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the month…” — Joshua 5:10

Within the framework developed here, this Passover represents the proposed transition from the first 3½ years to the second 3½ years. Scripture establishes the sequence; the identification of Gilgal as the precise prophetic midpoint remains an interpretation to be tested further against Daniel and Revelation.

The Food Changes

Scripture context: Joshua 5:10–12; John 6:48; Daniel 12:10.

“the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land…” — Joshua 5:12

Before Gilgal there was wilderness food; after Passover there was food of the Promised Land. Christ Jesus later declared, “I am the bread of life” (John 6:48).

Within this interpretation, the food of Canaan marks the changed time wherein the true Elect of THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH begin to partake of the Heavenly Food here on earth, which is Christ Jesus, the Bread of Life—the Food for the Bride who has already been refined through the furnace. This marks the beginning of their Heavenly life—a purely holy and righteous life while they are still here on earth.

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.” — Daniel 12:10, KJV

The Captain of the Host Appears

Scripture context: Joshua 5:13–15.

“Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come.” — Joshua 5:14

Many Christian interpretations identify this figure as a divine manifestation associated with Christ; the text itself calls Him the Captain of the host of the LORD. Within this prophetic study, His appearance represents Christ Jesus taking His place as Commander over the purified people during the proposed second half.

The Second 3½ Years: Possession While Warfare Continues

Scripture context: Joshua 6–11; Daniel 7:18–27.

Israel was inside Canaan, circumcised, with the reproach of Egypt removed, celebrating Passover, eating the food of Canaan and under divine leadership. The battles remained, which were to be fought under the leadership of THE LORD Himself, for He fought for Israel as they took possession of the land. These included Jericho, Ai and Achan, the southern coalition associated with Adonizedek, and the northern coalition associated with Jabin.

“And all these kings and their land did Joshua take at one time, because the LORD God of Israel fought for Israel.” — Joshua 10:42

“Joshua took the whole land… and the land rested from war.” — Joshua 11:23

After the Passover at Gilgal, Israel ceased eating manna and began to eat the food of Canaan. Within this interpretation, this marks the beginning of the last 3½ years of the final seven years within the 490 years, or seventy weeks. This period shall hereafter in this study be referred to as “Heaven on earth”—the time when royal power is given to the Elect of THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH and they begin to reign as kings:

“And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High…” — Daniel 7:27, KJV

During this period, Christ Jesus prepares them to be taken into the Heavenly Kingdom of THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH.

Royal Power and the Saints Possessing the Kingdom

Scripture context: Daniel 7:18–27; Revelation 2:26–27.

“judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.” — Daniel 7:22

“he that overcometh… to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron…” — Revelation 2:26–27

The Seven Churches and the Bride

Scripture context: Revelation 1–3; Revelation 21:9.

“To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life…” — Revelation 2:7

“the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” — Revelation 21:9

This study proposes that the faithful overcomers represented by the messages to the Seven Churches point prophetically toward the purified end-time Church—the Bride of Christ Jesus. This relationship will be examined more deeply as the study proceeds through Revelation and other books in the Holy Scriptures.

The Twelve Children of Israel and the Twelve Apostles

Scripture context: Mark 3:13–19; Matthew 28:18–20.

“And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach.” — Mark 3:14

Within the typology, the Twelve sons of Jacob point to covenantal Israel, while the Twelve Apostles carry the apostolic transmission of the Gospel of Christ. This is a typological correspondence, not biological succession.

The Proposed Historical 490-Year Correspondence

Daniel 9:24–27 (KJV)

24 “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”

25 “Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.”

26 “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”

27 “And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.”

Daniel’s numerical structure is 49 + 434 + 7 = 490 years. The historical-prophetic chronology presently under examination observes:

1536 → 1970 = 434 years
1970 → 2019 = 49 years
2019 → 2026 = 7 years
434 + 49 + 7 = 490 years.

The arithmetic is exact. The identification of these historical periods with Daniel’s prophecy is a prophetic interpretation and must continue to be tested against Scripture.

1536–1970 — 434 years

This period is understood typologically as corresponding to the Egypt/affliction stage in the history of GOD’s people. The Church of England is treated as an important historical marker in this interpretation, while the apostolic Word remains the standard against which later traditions are examined.

1970–2019 — 49 years

This period is interpreted as the new-generation/Born Again movement phase, corresponding typologically to the generation travelling toward the inheritance and eventually facing a Kadesh-like separation.

2019–2026 — Proposed Final Seven

This period is being examined as corresponding to Daniel’s final week and the approximately seven-year Zered-to-inheritance pattern: first 3½ — refining/furnace; Gilgal — purification, covenantal transition and Passover; second 3½ — Kingdom possession under the Captain.

COVID-19 and the Furnace

COVID-19 occupies an important place in the present prophetic interpretation. Public recognition developed progressively rather than supplying one single humanly identifiable date for the hidden biological beginning of the disease. This study therefore does not assign an undisclosed exact starting day merely to produce a mathematical 3½-year interval. Rather, COVID-19 is interpreted as a visible worldwide marker associated with the proposed first 3½-year furnace period.

“Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried…” — Daniel 12:10

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man… but my Father only.” — Matthew 24:36

“the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:2

Consequently, this teaching does not claim knowledge of a divinely hidden exact day. It proposes a prophetic season and structure whose details must continue to be examined by the Holy Scriptures.

Master Chronology

Jacob commanded to return from Haran → approximately 49 years → Jacob’s “last days” prophecy and death → Children of Israel in Egypt → 430 / 400-year framework → Exodus → Wilderness → Kadesh → 38 years → Zered → “begin to possess” → Sihon and Og → first proposed 3½ years: furnace/refining → Jordan → Gilgal → circumcision → reproach removed → Passover: proposed midpoint → food of Canaan → manna ceases → Captain appears → second proposed 3½ years: Kingdom/possession → Jericho → Ai → Adonizedek → Jabin → land rests from war → Caleb/inheritance.

Prophetically: Apostolic Word → 434 years (1536–1970) → 49 years (1970–2019) → final 7 (2019–2026, proposed) → first 3½ furnace/purification → Gilgal-type transition → second 3½ Captain-led Kingdom phase → completion of the proposed 490-year pattern.

Conclusion

“Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition…” — 1 Corinthians 10:11

The pattern presently emerging is one of calling → separation → affliction → deliverance → testing → judgment → refining → purification → covenant → inheritance → Kingdom authority → final victory.

Yet this study remains subject to the authority of the Holy Scriptures. As we proceed deeper into Daniel and Revelation, every element of this Master Chronology must be allowed to stand, be refined, or be corrected according to the Word itself.

Particular attention will subsequently be given to Daniel 7, Daniel 9, Daniel 12, Revelation 1–3, Revelation 5, Revelation 7, Revelation 11–14 and Revelation 17–22.

“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” — Revelation 1:3

To be continued as the study of Daniel and Revelation develops.
