WHAT IT MEANS TO BE “BORN AGAIN” OR TO BE CALLED A “CHRISTIAN
Everyone ought to prepare his or her life before THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH by first confessing and accepting his ONLY begotten Son CHRIST JESUS as his or her personal Saviour. This is ONLY done when a person openly confesses (speaks it clearly with the mouth) and believes in the heart that Christ Jesus is Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9–10).

NICODEMUS AND THE NEW BIRTH
Nicodemus, one of the great teachers among the Pharisees, was surprised when Christ Jesus told him that he must be born again.
He was a respected religious leader — the kind of person today we might call Reverend, Bishop, Archbishop, Pope, Pastor, Prophet, etc. He knew the Ten Commandments by heart and taught many people the Laws of GOD. Yet, even with all that knowledge and position, it was still a shock to him when Jesus said:
“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3–8)
This shows that it does not matter whether you are a bishop, reverend, pope, archbishop, prophet, pastor, or carry any religious title. If such a person has NOT fulfilled the FIRST STEP of CONFESSING and ACCEPTING Christ Jesus as personal Saviour — sincerely, from the heart — then it is a lie for that person to claim: “I am a Christian; I am born again; I am a Child of GOD YAHWEH.” No. GOD forbid!
NOT ALL WHO SAY “LORD, LORD” WILL ENTER INTO THE HEAVENLY KINGDOM
We must also note that not all who have “confessed and accepted” Christ Jesus as personal Saviour will inherit the Heavenly Kingdom of THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH.
The Lord Jesus Himself said: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven…” (Matthew 7:21).
In the same way, THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH disowned His own people who left Egypt and were called by His Name. After they disobeyed Him, He rejected them and made sure they did not reach the Promised Land. They perished in the wilderness (Numbers 14:26–33; Hebrews 3:8–19).
WHAT IT MEANS TO BE “BORN AGAIN”
To be Born Again generally means entering into a covenant with THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH.
This covenant is sealed with the BLOOD of Christ Jesus, the only begotten SON of GOD YAHWEH.
It is not sealed with the blood of a goat, a cock, or any other animal. It is sealed ONLY with the precious Blood of Christ Jesus, the SON of THE MOST HIGH GOD YAHWEH.
We can compare this, in a simple way, to how the world conducts weddings or court oaths:
– In a wedding, vows are made before witnesses.
– In a court, oaths are spoken out loud before an authority.
So, likewise, when someone is Born Again or becomes truly qualified to be called a “Christian” or a “Child of GOD YAHWEH,” there is a vow, a covenant, made with GOD.
THE ROLE OF A PHYSICAL REPRESENTATIVE
In a wedding, there is usually someone leading the couple to make their vows.
Likewise, in the matter of being Born Again, there must be a qualified and eligible person — someone who is already truly Born Again — to lead another person in confession and acceptance of Christ Jesus as personal Saviour.
That person should be a genuine Born Again believer. GOD uses such a person as a CHANNEL through whom His words are spoken. The one making the covenant openly confesses with the mouth that he has accepted GOD YAHWEH as his Father, and has accepted Christ Jesus as his Saviour.
At the same time, other people are present, hearing the confession. They serve as witnesses to the covenant being made between that person and GOD ALMIGHTY YAHWEH.
When the person finishes making the vow, saying, for example, “Today I accept Christ Jesus as my Saviour…”, that covenant is spiritually sealed with the Blood of Christ Jesus that was shed on the cross at Calvary, and the process of being Born Again is fully completed.
SATAN’S COUNTERFEIT COVENANTS
Satan, in his craftiness, tries to imitate the ways of GOD through deception.
In the kingdom of darkness:
– The witch doctor represents satan, acting as a physical channel.
– Satan uses the witch doctor to lead a person into making a covenant.
– The victim (or “culprit”) speaks out certain words with his mouth, forming a vow with satan.
– The covenant is then sealed with the blood of a bird, an animal, or in the worst cases, the blood of a human being (Psalms 106:37).
In this way, a person enters into a covenant with satan. After that, satan expects the person to fulfil all that was pledged in that evil covenant. Satan, through the witch doctor, also makes promises, giving the impression that he will fulfil them.
But we must remember: satan is “a liar, and the father of it.” He does not have the power or authority to truly fulfil his promises. He only deceives.
The AUTHORITY to do all things is what Christ Jesus took away from satan at the cross when He said: “It is finished.” (John 19:30). From that moment, satan’s claims are empty lies. He may promise to fulfil the covenant, but it is all in vain.
THE ONLY GENUINE COVENANT
THE ONLY TRUE AND GENUINE COVENANT is the one made between a person (who confesses Christ as Saviour) and GOD ALMIGHTY YAHWEH, sealed with the Blood of Christ Jesus.
Why is this covenant genuine?
– Because THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH has complete authority in Heaven and on earth.
– He is faithful to fulfil what He has promised in His covenant.
Now we can clearly see what it means to be Born Again, a Child of GOD, and truly qualified to be called a Christian.
A Born Again person — a true Christian — is someone who has made a covenant with THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH through the Blood of Christ Jesus.
That process or action of making this covenant, through a physical representative whom GOD uses, is what we call being Born Again. The words of the vow (the covenant) are sealed with the Blood of Christ Jesus shed on the cross at Calvary.
IMPORTANT QUESTIONS
Let us consider these questions:
1. Wedding Example
– Can we say a wedding was done when the husband and wife never made any vows?
– Will the wedding really qualify to be called “successful”?
– Can we truly say Mr. X is now married to Ms. Y if no vows were exchanged?
2. Born Again / Christian Identity
– Can we say a person is “Born Again” or is a “Christian” when he has NOT confessed and has NOT accepted Christ Jesus as personal Saviour?
3. Confession Through a Born Again Channel
– Should a person qualify to be called a Christian when he has not confessed and received Christ Jesus through a qualified and eligible person (a truly Born Again believer) whom GOD YAHWEH uses as a channel to pass His words of the covenant?
4. Claiming to Be a Child of GOD Without the Covenant
– Is it right for a person to deceive himself by saying: “I am a Child of GOD YAHWEH,” “I am a Christian,” “I am Born Again,” when he/she has NOT made that covenant sealed with the Blood of Christ Jesus?
SUMMARY OF THE MATTER
The greatest lie of satan is to make a person believe that he or she is a “Christian” while that person has never truly entered the covenant with GOD through Christ Jesus.
You cannot truthfully call THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH your Father, and He cannot call you His Child, if you have not yet made that covenant by the Blood of His only SON, Christ Jesus.
Christ Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6).
That covenant is ONLY valid when a person makes vows to THE ALMIGHTY GOD YAHWEH, through an eligible physical representative — a person who is already Born Again — whom GOD uses as a channel for His words of the covenant.
